Installing Nova Kool Fridge Thumb Latches

We have a Nova Kool refrigerator/freezer on our American Tug, and while it has never happened, I sometimes worried that either the fridge or freezer door might come flying open one day when we are out on the water getting rocked and rolled around.  I've noticed little thumb 'backup' latches on some boats, and so I gave Nova Kool a call one day to see if I could buy some for our fridge and freezer. The answer was not only "But or course" - but was quickly followed by "Where can we ship some to you?"  When I asked about the cost of the latches, the very nice man said that he would send them to me at no charge.  How nice is that?? 

The arrived in short order and I now have them installed.  Marion (I think that is his name) even called a week later to ask if I had received the latches and if I had any questions or problems in installing them.  Now THAT'S what I call wonderful customer service!!!

Jeremy (my resident mechanic and installer of all things nautical) noted that, while the three holes where the latch screws into are already drilled, the screws take a little 'stick' to get them started as they are self-tapping.
